I think that Mia has posted this, but in case we haven't told anyone yet, Ethan is going through another development spurt.

It's kind of like a growth spurt except that he isn't getting any taller. He is, however, learning new words at a rate of about 100 a minute. I guess that's a little fast, but he is repeating everything we say and then using those words later. It's really incredible to see this language boom. I think that something in his little brain has clicked and he is really starting to connect what he says to ideas and objects.

He is even learning how to be polite. When he gives us something (or we give him something) he says his version of 'Thank you' and then immediately afterwards says 'welcome'
