Made my day

I just wanted to make a quick post about how cute my son is.

I've been feeling sick the last few days, just haven't had any energy to do anything. But last night, before getting ready for bed, I asked Ethan if he wanted to eat some fruit. Of course he did, he loves fruit. So I got him a little fruit cup and we both sat down at the little red table that is his "big boy table".

But, he wasn't content to eat the fruit by myself and kept saying "Daddy fruit". I just responded that I wasn't going to have any. Then he got up, dragged one of the big kitchen chairs across the floor to the shelves, climbed up on the chair and tried to reach the basket with the fruit in it.

I helped him get one out and ate it with him at his table.

He really helped make a day that had been hard and exhausting for me much, much better. I am amazed at how much love Ethan has for us and shows to us. It's part of the reason that we love him so much.
