Full On Tantrum

Ethan doesn't throw tantrums. He gets upset about things (and hits us sometimes, we're working on that) and will show his anger but doesn't take it to the point of being irrational.

Except for yesterday. Ethan hasn't been napping since we left Boston and it finally started catching up with him.

Now, I have to pause here and recognize some culpability because we have been keeping him up late sometimes as we meet new friends and go over to their houses or take him out to something new down here.

But back to the point, last night Ethan was miserable. He wouldn't stop crying about everything. I couldn't do anything without him screaming. He was hitting, screaming, crying, repeat. This was the worst that I've ever seen. Finally I wrestled him into pajamas and got him into bed.

At which point he promptly fell asleep.
